Seriously? And you call yourselves fans? Ya’ll should know better. For somewhat viable reasons (we guess) the internet lost its mind for a minute after Cardi B posted yet another thirst trap on Wednesday, January 6.

The photo in question is of Cardi’s husband Offset’s hand firmly placed on her taut derrière. The close up image got many confused, thinking her rump was in fact a bump, of the 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 kind.

Captioning the photo with, “Can’t wait to get home…. Horny Hyena,” which should have been a dead giveaway btw. Those of us real and true Cardi fans were never fooled, simply by peeping her tattoo.

Those not so attentive started flooding the rapper’s comments section. “Thought you were announcing another pregnancy… man goodnight,” one person wrote. “Girl I’m thinking that’s a 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 belly,” someone else wrote. “Why I thought this was a pregnancy announcement?” a third person chimed in.

Hours later Cardi caught wind of the confusion and took to Twitter to say her piece, “Not me posting a picture on IG of Set grabbing my ass cheek and people in the comments thinking he touching a pregnant belly,” she tweeted. “Sexy mission fail.”

Speaking of parenthood, the silly misunderstanding comes days after Cardi shared a video of herself quickly turning off her song “WAP” as soon as her toddler entered the room.

After receiving a bit of backlash, Cardi shut down the criticism by responding to haters on Twitter. When one user called her or the situation “DISGUSTING,” we’re not entirely sure, Cardi promptly let her know, “Ya needs to stop with this already! I’m not jojosiwa! I don’t make music for kids I make music for adults. Parents are responsible on what their children listen too or see. I’m a very 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual person but not around my child just like every other parent should be.” Tell ’em Cardi!
