โThis celebration is around Christmas, the unveiling of the Christmas windows around Rockefeller Center, making a big gift to the city and to the New York citizens. Itโs for Saks, itโs for New York and itโs for the U.S. We hope it will have a reach that is beyond the city and have some recognition for all of our clients across the U.S.,โ said Charles Delapalme, managing director of Christian Dior Couture.
Lawrence has been a Dior ambassador since 2012.
It comes after it was revealed that Lawrence is unlikely to return to The Hunger Games.
The star portrayed Katniss Everdeen in the first four movies of the dystopian sci-fi film franchise, but producer Nina Jacobson says her return is dependent on author Suzanne Collins writing a new novel featuring her alter ego.
Jacobson told Yahoo Entertainment: โIf Suzanne has something to say, then sheโll write a book about it.
โHonestly, as much as I love Katniss, I think her story is complete. And I think that Suzanne feels that her story is complete.โ
She added: โBut if that changes and Suzanne has something she wants to say that involves Katniss, then I would be thrilled.โ
โBut really, any chance to be back in this world and lead with Francis (Lawrence) and Suzanne, I would take regardless of who it was about.โ

The franchise returned to the big screen this month with the prequel film โThe Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakesโ, and Jennifer expressed hope earlier this year that she could make a return.
Asked about the prospect by Variety, the No Hard Feelings star said, โOh, my God, totally! If Katniss could ever come back into my life, 100 percent.
โMy producing partner just clutched her heart.โ
Rachel Zegler stars as protagonist Lucy Gray Baird in the prequel, and director Francis Lawrence explains that she is the โanti-Katnissโ.
The filmmaker told Empire magazine, โKatniss was an introvert and a survivor. She was quite quiet and stoic; you could almost say she was a๐โฏ๐ual. Lucy Gray is the opposite. She wears her ๐โฏ๐uality on her sleeve, and she really is a performer.โ
The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes hit theaters on November 17.
